Matt's Martinez:

Courtesy of Matt Cuff of One Eight Distilling

Boozy with subtle sweet finish

0.5 oz Leopold Bros. Maraschino Liqueur

2 dashes Regan's Orange Bitters

Glass: Coupe

Combine all ingredients and stir, then strain into chilled coupe.

Garnish:

(Optional) Orange Twist

Notes:

Our very own Matt Cuff made this cocktail as his end of shift drink and it was so good that it had to go as the cocktail of the month. Cocchi Di Torino (bittersweet) and Leopold Bros. Maraschino Liqueur(one of the driest maraschino liqueurs)  work perfectly with this cocktail. If you are going to use a different vermouth and liqueur, you are going to have to play around with the proportions but don't get frustrated, it will work...you might need to buy another bottle of our gin and take a nap but you will get it.
